These homes are specially designed and staffed to care for and support members that have been in the hospital for a great length of time and/or have tried other placements and have failed and require a higher level of supervision. The facility is a locked home for the protection and support of those that reside there. They are fully staffed by highly trained individuals who have passed extensive background checks. A nurse, case-manager and activities director are also on full time staff to provide extra support and attention to the needs of the consumers that reside there. 

The Nichols House is an all male facility. Eight adult males share this handsomely decorated eight-bedroom home. This home is located on a large corner lot in the small college town of Martin Tennessee. The atmosphere is that of a calm small southern town which is a benefit to those in need of serenity to obtain their highest potential and yet, the activities in that area are numerous because of the college allowing the residents to participate in the community, including all of the college games.   

The Pettit House is a beautifully decorated eight-bedroom home located in Union City, Tennessee. This home offers private bedrooms with private closets to the eight females that reside there. This home is located on a very large lot and offers plenty of out door space to do outside activities and garden. In Union City there is plenty of opportunity to shop and do other activities to interact with the community, which is encouraging and promoting wellness of those who live in this Generations home.        

The lovely scenery and peaceful surroundings make The Nichols and Pettit Houses an ideal setting for those who suffer from the effects of mental illness.  Tucked away in the beautiful countryside of west Tennessee,  The peace and serenity of this quiet country setting helps one refocus while finding individualized help from caring staff.
