Generations places an important value on the emotional comfort level of the service recipient. Therefore, Generations ARTF facilities highly resemble regular independent community-based settings. The “Home” environment of these settings add to the overall warmth and tranquility of the environment. There are at least two staff on duty at all times in this level of care. Services are also provided 24 hours a day/7 days a week. ARTF settings place increased emphasis on the treatment component of care through educational groups, emphasis on increasing independence through Care Management, and an increased desire for the service recipient to actively participate in all aspects of care.
