    The Wood House is an 8-bed home that is sitting on the edge of the Gaither’s horse farm in Warren County Tennessee. It is an older home that has been completely renovated on the inside and completely re-landscaped on the outside. The yard is large and has a warm country feel. The Wood House has 4 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms. All rooms are completely and comfortably furnished.

    Although this home is not a locked facility, it is highly staffed with a ratio of 2 staff personnel to 8 individuals. The staff at this home has been highly trained and has passed numerous background checks. The full time staff includes, but is not limited to an executive director, nurse, activities director and case manager. The staff is present and awake 24 hours a day.

    Most individuals that will reside at this level of care have long hospitalization histories, have failed numerous placements, or both, and require a higher level of support and supervision to succeed at community living. The activities director works hard to insure that the residents stay busy and happy as they progress toward increased independence. The full time nurse monitors medication compliance, health/hygiene and medication progress.

    This home is located just minutes from the heart of McMinnville, Tennessee on highway 70S between McMinnville and Woodbury. It is very close to shopping and numerous other opportunities to interact with the community.
